The Waterside is celebrating after receiving two honours at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2026, including a win in the Best Development in the South category.

The development received:

• Winner, Best Development in the South: The Waterside
• Highly Commended, Best Off-Plan Development: The Waterside

Two honours for The Waterside

The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards celebrate the developments, organisations and campaigns helping people take their first step onto the property ladder.

Now in their 17th year, the awards recognise the work of housebuilders, housing associations and other organisations supporting first-time buyers with new homes and routes into homeownership.

The Waterside was shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 awards and received recognition in two of them.

Winning Best Development in the South is a significant achievement for The Waterside. The development was also Highly Commended in the Best Off-Plan Development category, providing further recognition for the homes and the work involved in bringing the development to life.
